Question: Isn’t Minsk a poor and backwards city? |

Answer: Minsk is a very European city with the population of
2.5 million people and an International airport. Downtown Minsk
rivals many European cities with its beauty and charm, classic and
historical buildings, large beautiful parks. Restaurants, cafes,
bars and nightclubs to rival any large metropolitan city in America:
Minsk has many theaters, a well-known Opera House and world-class
ballet, as well as numerous other entertaining attractions provided
at extremely low prices. |

Question: Are the doctors as well trained
as in America? |
|
Answer: Not only
are the doctors well-trained, many of our clients have stated that
our doctors are more skilled than their personal dentists back home.
Please, try to remember that the former Soviet Union had one of the
highest literacy rates and some of the best universities in the
world. This has not changed since the break-up of the USSR. All of
our doctors have trained in Western Europe and all well-skilled in
all cutting-edge techniques of modern dentistry. |

Question: Are former USSR republics run by
the mafia? |

Answer: This may be
true for some parts of Moscow and St. Petersburg, but not so of
Minsk. Because of a very strong governmental hand, they have
eliminated any trace of organized crime. Moscow and Minsk are worlds
apart. You will find that you can walk the streets of Minsk in the
middle of the night and not feel any discomfort or a threat. The
society here is extremely well-behaved and well-mannered. Try
walking the streets of any major US city in the middle of the night! |

Question: Is housing sub-standard in
Minsk? |

Answer: Our
apartments or hotels (of your choice) are all completely remodeled
to high western standards and they are extremely comfortable. |

Question: Without knowing Russian, will I
be lost? |

Answer: The truth
of the matter is that yes, without knowing Russian or having a
full-time interpreter with you, you will be lost. However, that’s
why we provide you with your own full-time interpreter, who will
meet with you in the international airport in Minsk when you come
and will be at your complete disposal during your stay in Minsk. |

Question: Isn’t Minsk very far away? |
|
Answer: Minsk is
Central Europe. It is only 350 km from the European Union. From the
Eastern coast of America the total flight time is 9.5 hours with a
usual 40 minute layover in Frankfurt-on-Main (Germany). |

Question: If I get sick if I am in Minsk,
am I in trouble? |

Answer: Like all
Western European countries, Belarus has a very good socialized
medical program and, best of all, your medical insurance is paid by
